Re-Thinking Stair Design

Since starting school, I've had to incorporate stairs into the bulk of my design projects. I'll admit that I've never really thought of making stairs the focal point. I've always tried to make them interesting but I'm generally so hung up on other areas of the design that the stairs fall off the 'coolness' priority list. Really, I've always just looked at them as a means to get where you're going! That was before I saw these pics. Check out more of them here.
