Where Children Sleep

8.12.2011
James Mollison is a documentary photographer living in Venice who just published a book called Where Children Sleep. As a means of raising money for a children's charity, he sought out to take photos of the bedrooms of children all over the world. The images speak for themselves, showing the vast differences that exist around the globe - particularly of class and poverty. They are really worth a look. See them in the New York Times here.

Kaya, 4, lives in a Tokyo apartment with her parents.
Her bedroom is captured below. Both photos taken by
James Mollison for Where Children Sleep.
