I love browsing through antique shows and flea markets to see what people collect. When you see the merchandise that is available at these shows, you can really understand the saying "one man's trash is another man's treasure". Shot glasses, depression glass, vintage Christmas ornaments, ash trays, piggy banks...the list goes on forever. Some people really do have a knack for displaying their collections. Check out some nice ones below.
I have been collecting city Starbucks mugs for a while now. If you aren't familiar with them, it's a series of mugs that Starbucks produces with images and facts about cities all over the world. You can only buy the city mug in the town that is represented (you can only buy a Toronto mug in Toronto, for example). It started as a bit of a souvenir collection when I visited new places, but this past weekend we finally got our collection on display and we have 56 mugs in total. I can assure you that I haven't collected them all myself, but I do have some very well-travelled friends and family. Does anyone else have any collections that they're working on? I'd love to hear about them.
I would love to see more fall decor ideas...budget friendly please!
