A few changes on the way
So I'm planning a few changes in my life that I am eager to share. Firstly, as some may know, I'm graduating in 9 weeks. That's 1512 hours, so exciting! I'm ready to start using what I've learned in the real world, and...ahem...make some money again!
My plan is to start a business! I'm so excited about the prospect of running my own interior design firm out of my house, and I can't wait to get started. I've been busy planning and plotting (when I should be doing school work) and am working on some branding stuff as we speak. Obviously with a little one at home with me, it'll be a slower start, but I'm over the moon excited! More on developments there soon.
All this change got me thinking about the blog, though. When I started it, I was home with Brigs and wanted a creative outlet that I could get going with immediately, so I put it together rather quickly and got posting. I'm loving it and have full plans to continue in the blog world, but I'm thinking that a few changes need to be made, starting with the name. With a name change comes the possibility of an address change (URL change) which is the biggest nuisance of all. I just wanted to give you guys some advance notice on the possibility of this change so that hopefully you can continue reading! When I've decided how it's all going to go down, I'll let you know. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions for names, I'm all ears.
I'm not a tech-savvy person, so I want to make sure I can do this without losing all the content I've added so far. Stay tuned for final development.
In the meantime, has anyone seen this post from The Woman Formerly Known as Beautiful? She writes about her body image woes in such a funny and endearing way, and it's worth a visit for anyone needing a bit of body image perspective. Also, she posted a hilarious Muffinlicious video that's good for a Wednesday morning laugh. Check it out when you have a minute.
Happy Wednesday everyone!
